Auto Attack

From TibiaAuto

Jump to: navigation, search

The Auto Attack system can be used by both advanced and regular users. It can perform the simplest tasks such as attacking monsters, moving around a cave and looting, but also act smarter with more complications like depositing golds at bank, putting items in depot, selling and buying staff and more. We will learn how to set these functions, after read this page, you will be able to create your own cavebot script.

Creatures to Attack

With the Auto Attack module you can select which creatures you want the bot to attack as well as which creatures you want to prevent the bot from attacking (ignore).

Now we will focus on this part of the Auto Attack module:

Monster to atack/ignore list
Monster to atack/ignore list

At the top left corner you can see "Monster Attacking". Simply add a creature name to the blank space and click ">>>" button to add the monster you wrote to the list. Please notice that you have to write the full monster's name in order to make the bot attack it, for example, if you will write "Mino" instead of "Minotaur", the bot will not attack it. If you want to remove a monster from the list, simply click on the monster name on the list and click on the "<<<" button.

The bot will attack the monsters in the order they apear in the list; the top monster will be attacked first. In the right side of the list you will see 2 buttons: "Up" and "Down". These buttons will take up/down any creature from the list, you need to select a creature from the list, click on it and then click on "Up" or "Down". For example, let's say you have in the list 3 monsters: Wolf, Minotaur and Rotworm. The Wolf is on the top, then the Minotaur and then the Rotworm. The bot will attack the Wolf first, then the Minotaur and last it will attack the Rotworm. Let's say you want to make the bot to attack the Rotworm first, you mark the Rotworm in the list and click on the "Up" button until the Rotworm will apear as first monster in the list.

Creatures to Ignore

This works exactly as "Creatures to Attack", you add the creature you want to ignore to the list and the bot will ignore it automatically. Creatures to Ignore are most likely summons, for example Skeletons which are summoned by Beholders, or War Wolves which are summoned by Barbarian Brutetamers. You can also add lureable creature to the ignore list, for example if you are botting at PoH Cyclops, you can add Giant Spider to your ignoring list, this will prevent the bot from attacking a Giant Spider. However, you can also add creature like slimes to your ignore list in order to train your skills. You have to change the slime's boss name and add his new name to the ignore list, thus the bot won't attack the boss of the slimes. For more information about how to train with slime you should check here: http://tibiaauto.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1002261

Now you know how to attack and ignore creatures.

Actions while Attacking

Now we'll focus on this part:

Actions while attacking
Actions while attacking

Auto Follow Mode: Selecting this will make the bot follow all creatures while the bot is enabled, even if you're not on following mode at the moment. However, it won't follow creatures through fire fields and such or if your path is blocked. Since TA uses Tibia's Auto Follow mode, if the Tibia server cannot find a path, you will be stuck trying to attack a creature you cannot reach for a couple seconds.
Stick To Monster: Simply will stick to the monster you are currently attacking, which means it won't stop attacking the target until it dies. If you don't select it, the bot might attack a monster and before it dies skip to one of higher priority on the attack list, this may cause creatures to clutter around you and break your shielding depending on where you are hunting.
Suspend when can't attack for 30 seconds: If the bot tries to attack an unreachable creature, such as a creature that is locked in room or creature that is in a close-by but separate area(for example dwarf caves or larvas), it will suspend attacking for the time set in "Suspend after unreachable" if it doesn't reach the creature after 30 seconds.
Backattack alien with runes: This will shoot SD runes on a creature that isn't in your "Creatures to Attack" list. In order to use a rune other than an SD, you must change the value in the

<const code="runeSD" value="0xc53"/>

line in the tibiaauto-items.xml file.
Don't attack players: In previous versions of Tibia Auto the bot used to attack players sometimes. It's fixed now, however select this just to make sure. This will prevent your character from getting Protection Zone Locked.
Reduce attack when player on screen: If a player enters your screen it will only attack monsters that start attacking you. This can be used to avoid killing other characters' creatures.
Attack only monsters attacking you: If you select this, the bot will attack only monsters that start attacking you. So if you added a wolf into your attack list, it will attack only wolves which attack you. Remember, this option only applies to creatures from the list.
Force attack when attacked: This will attack anything attacking you unless it's in the ignore list. Note: This will also attack players attacking you if you are not on safe mode or did not check "Don't Attack Players". This will also prevent your character from becoming trapped by creatures in case they are not included in your attack list. This should only be disabled when you know you have accounted for all the creatures you will encounter in a cave.
Share force attacked: This will allow two running cavebots on the same computer to treat a monster attacking the other character as if it were attacking itself. For example, if two multi-clienting characters are in the same cave killing beholders, if the beholder attacks only one character, both will start attacking the beholer ("Stick to Monster" will prevent this until the current monster is dead).
Unreachable After [seconds]: If the bot starts heading toward an attacked creature and does not damage it or get within 1 space(on follow mode only) it will stop trying attack it after X seconds.
Suspend after unreachable [seconds]: Once the bot has stopped attacking the unreachable monster it will ignore only that one creature for X seconds and attack something else. For example, you set "Unreachable After" as 10 and "Suspend after unreachable" as 5. Let's say the bot tries to attack an unreachable wolf, it will stop trying to attack the wolf after 10 seconds and re-try to attack it after 5 seconds, but by then perhaps it has become reachable or is not off-screen.
Attack Mode: It doesn't matter on what attack mode you are in before enabling the cavebot, once you enable the Auto Attack Module the attack mode will be as selected here. So if you choose, for example, full defense and enable the Auto Attack, your character will attack on full defense even if you are actually on full attack at Tibia.
Attack creatures with HP%>: This will attack only creatures that their HP% is bigger then the number set. It is usualy 0, which means it will attack any creature. If you set it to 50, for example, it will attack only creatures that their HP percents are bigger then 50 (good for training with monk).
Consider monsters in range: Let's say you choose 5 as the attack range. This means the bot will only attack creatures on your attack list that are 5 tiles away from you or closer. If a creature is more far then 5 tiles away it won't attack it unless it starts attacking you, but once it's getting closer to you it will attack it.
Waypoints Select Mode: This is related to the next part, but I will explain it here. After you created your waypoints you have 2 options:

     1. The bot will go around them randomly, it will select waypoints from the list in random order.
     2. The bot will follow the waypoints as they appear in the list, one after the other, from the first to the last.

Waypoints

Now we'll focus on this part:

Waypoint Walker
Waypoint Walker

Before creating your waypoints, go to the Show Map module and select "Extended Research Map".

There are 2 ways to add waypoints:
1.Stand on the Waypoint You must stand on the square you wan to set as a waypoint. Click ">>>" in the cavebot module to add it to the list. This will place it after the currently selected waypoint or at the end if none is selected. This allows you to order them as you add them.

2.Load from Minimap: This is the most useful way to add waypoints without visiting them directly. To add a set of waypoints, create minimap tags in the Tibia client in alphabetical order starting with "$ta "(eg. "$ta 01", "$ta 02" ... or "$ta apple", "$ta berry", "$ta collar"). Once they are created, then click on the "Load from Minimap" button and it will add the points to the end of the list, or clear the old list and replace it with the minimap points. This will only search for minimap labels close to where you are standing. (Tibia keeps only 12 minimap 'sections'(256x256) in memory at a time)

In order to create a waypoint you have to click on the ">>>" button (second one).
In order to delete a waypoint you have to click on the "<<<" button.
In order to add a delay, just put the time you want and click on the ">>>" button (the first one).
The bot will walk from waypoint to waypoint, exactly where you set them. It will automatically find a path down a ladder or up stairs when the map is researched. Simply set a waypoint on one floor, then go up/down and set another waypoint. Just make sure you selected "Extended Research Map" in Show Map so the bot can calculate the path to take. In order to make the bot open a hole with a shovel, you must have a shovel available in an open backpack. Also, you must either have "Extended Research Map" enabled or you will have to go to the Show Map, right click on the tile hole tile and select "Go down One Level- Closed Hole", same with sewer gate. This will prevent it from getting stuck and thinking it is an open hole it can go down without a shovel.

Stand still after reaching waypoint [seconds]: I always set it to 0, it will wait X seconds between waypoints.

You can select Tibia Auto Map, Tibia Map or mixed.

  • The Tibia Auto Map is the one found in the Show Map module. This is the most reliable, but requires time to research.
  • The Tibia map only includes the minimap and can be blocked by parcels and cannot go up or down floors.
  • The mixed map is usually useful for researching an area on a single floor. You can enable "Extended Research Map", load some waypoints from the minimap, and automatically walk around to research an area.

Automatically Research the Map

You can use this feature after loading a list of waypoints from the minimap by loading a file, walking around, or loading from the minimap.

TA will look for a path on your currently explored Tibia Minimap between all the points in your list.

It searches in order from the top of the list to the bottom and will show you its progress while it is searching. The search is guaranteed to finish within a reasonable amount of time, but if it taking too long it can be stopped at any time. Once found, it will add the path to the Show Map module with a thickness of 5 squares and defaulting to stairs and open holes for every floorchange. It will not replace squares already researched.

Since it uses the minimap, it will attempt to detect level changes by the yellow dots and grey dots. It will not be guaranteed to detect some of the less common ways of changing floors, but will still manage to find most hole-rope, hole-ramp, hole-normal stairs and hole-ladder changes.

YOU SHOULD STILL ENABLE EXTENDED RESEARCH. The minimap has very limited information and may not contain recent map changes.

Looting

Corpse Looting
Corpse Looting

Loot capacity limit: The bot will loot from monsters until capacity is less then X.
Loot food: Will loot any possible food that exist in the food section within "tibiaauto-items.xml".
Loot in bags: If you select this, the bot will also open bags that inside the dead monsters and loot from them.
Loot GP:' It will loot gold pieces.
Loot from floor: The bot will loot the selected loot items from the floor, however you have to select "Extended Research map" in the Show Map module. It will even uncover items on the ground in order to pick them up.
Loot worms: It will loot worms.
Drop not looted: Everything that isn't in the loot list will be dropped under you very fast. It is good if you want to make lootbag, so it will drop swords, maces and staff like this so you can collect them after your hunt and make big profit.
Loot Custom: This will loot custom loot, for example: fire sword, brass armor, wand of inferno and such items. NOTE: In order to set the bot to loot custom items you have to do the followings:

     1. Go to C:\Program Files\Tibia Auto\mods.
     2. Open the file "tibiaauto-items.xml" with notepad.
     3. Scroll down until you see the section labeled with "<looted>" and "</looted>".
     4. Go to: http://tibiaauto.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1002183
     5. Select an item and copy its code from the list below.
     6. Paste the item's code to "tibiaauto-items.xml" in the <looted>-</looted> part.
     7. Save the file.
     8. Re-open the bot.
     9. Select loot custom.
     or
     1. Go to Item Config feature.
     2. Go to the Item Config wiki page here: http://www.tibiaauto.net/wiki/index.php/Item_Config
     3. Select the Item ID you wish to add to the loot list (custom looting). REMEMBER: You HAVE to use the decimal number of the item.
     4. Refresh the definitions.
     5. Go to the Auto Attack feature of TibiaAuto.
     6. Select loot custom.

Eat from corpse: This will eat from corpses that you killed. However, keep in mind it will wait near the corpse for 1-2 seconds because it's eating. This might lower your average experience per hour. Keep in mind that it will eat only food that is listed in "tibiaauto-items.xml".

Now you know how to loot perfectly.

Depot Walker

Depot Walker
Depot Walker

With this function you are able to set the bot to go to the depot, put items inside and take items from it. However, more combined options could be found at Auto Banker and Loot Seller. I will explain the basics here.

In order to set the bot to go to depot, you have to map the area between the depot to the hunting spot. For this you will have to select "Extended Research Map" in Show Map module, and go from the depot to the cave area, thus the bot will know the map between the cave to the depot. After you done with mapping the area, you will have several options:

Drop items instead of depositing: This will drop items under you instead of depositing them to depot when your character is standing next to the depot. If you own a house, this can be used to deposit an unlimited number of items on the floor.
Go to depot when cap below: This will go to the depot when the cap is below X. However it won't go immediately, it will over the round in the cave, go all over the waypoints and then go to depot. Remember: you have to map the area, otherwise it will say "Path not found". Below (where the "Amulet of Loss" is) you can choose an item. Under this, you have 2 blank spaces. In the "When" blank add number and so with the "Remain". For example, if you chose ham in the list, this will remain from X to Y hams. It will take the hams from your depot. After you filled both blanks and chose an item from the list, click on the ">>>" button to add it to the list. "<<<" button will remove it from the list.

This was how to deposit items to depot and take items from depot. Remember to check out how to work the Auto Banker.

Trainer

Trainer
Trainer

Training weapon: Select the training weapon (the weak weapon that you attack with it the monk / slime / player). If the weapon is not in the list, you should go here: http://tibiaauto.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1002183 and copy your weapon's code, and add it to "tibiaauto-items.xml", then save the file and re-open the bot.
Fight weapon: Select your strong weapon, the one you hunt with. If it's not in the list, do the same as above.
Training Mode: Usually full defence, but select what fits you. It doesn't matter if you are on full attack on Tibia.
Blood Hit Control: This will make sure your character will make damage on the creature you are attacking, thus you won't make just puffs and your skills will raise up.
Fight when surrounded: This will switch from training weapon to fight weapon when 3 or more creatures are attacking you and kill them.
Fight when alien found: When alien is on screen it will switch to fight weapon to kill monsters attacking you faster.
Use right hand: It will switch weapons to the right hand instead of using the default.
Activate training mode: It will enable training, and if left unchecked then none of the other options matter.
