Here are some stepwise instructions to help you get started. This is a list of (basic) actions that require the use of more than one module and can present much confusion to users new to TA:

Loot an item from a creature

This feature exists both in the auto looter and the auto attack modules, but when hunting AFK only the auto attack is used (do not enable both modules at the same time to not confuse TA).

1. Open the Auto Attack (Cavebot) module.
2. For simplicity, check Force attack when attacked and Auto follow mode (left side).
3. Set Loot capacity limit to 0 in case you already have low capacity (right side).
4. Select Loot custom to loot from a master list we will see later.
5. Click Enable cavebot and then OK to exit the window. If the bot starts killing monsters around you, there's nothing to worry about.
6. Open the Item Config module. This is the master list referred to earlier where you can choose your custom loot.
7. Look through the tree and select the items you wish the cavebot to loot. Some items are present in more than one branch of the tree. Remember this if the bot continues looting a specific item you deselected in the list.
8. Click Save.

Now you should be ready to walk into a swarm of monsters. Let something attack you, and the cavebot will target it, kill it and loot it.

Within the Auto Attack module you can also quickly select some popular loot like food, gold and worms. Checking Custom loot is used for everything else.
